Slowly approaching day 300 of the chain, looking back no one would have thought this. However, so many go through so much more, day in and day out, having no other choice but to persevere. Solidarity is the least we can do.

Today is dedicated to protesting farmers. To cite Foreign Policy:

Dec 19: Day 4 of my fast, day 299 of our chain.
Today with a positive note, being thankful for Turkish immigrants in Germany who have developed the first approved vaccine against COVID-19. If immigrants are welcomed, not marginalized, and given the opportunities to succeed, great things can happen. As Turkish immigrants, they certainly had a much harder path to fight against stereotypes in society, so all the more respect.
