In Greece for a conference. Been busy with little time to read the news or catch up on FB posts. Keeping this brief, but thankful that this fasting chain never lets me lose India from my heart and mind, no matter how far or how busy I am.

Remembering Father Stan Swamy, who was cruelly taken from us a year ago. We cannot let his remarkable life be forgotten, and his ideals trampled on. We owe you, Father Swamy 🙏✊🏽

July 8: Day 2 of my fast, day 863 of our chain.

Conferences are a time for scientific exchange, but also for socializing with other scientists through tourism and gastronomy, both of which Thessaloniki offers in spades. Out of the 5 days I spent in Thessaloniki, I had 3 days of all that, but I fasted yesterday and today, and will be fasting tomorrow on my way back to Germany.

Why? Because this is a chain of solidarity for all of those who are being ruthlessly trampled on by Modi and his enablers. I will not let my guard down and let myself be distracted by good food and drink while gems of humanity like Teesta Setalvad, Mohammad Zubair and so many others get punished by monsters who have taken over our beautiful country during the past 8 years.

All of us in this chain are keeping a hawk’s eye out for you, dear Teesta, dear Zubair! We will keep speaking out, nothing will be forgotten!!

July 9: Day 3 of my fast, day 864 of our chain.

People often call me brave, and it surprises me. My immediate response is to check if I’m just being foolhardy. I usually find that to indeed be the case, but during the past few years, I notice that I am being called brave for simply thinking about what is right and for speaking my mind after a lot of careful deliberation. I don’t think one should have to be brave to do that. One simply needs to be free. And if you don’t have that freedom, what fake sense of security are you bargaining that freedom for?

These thoughts remind me of Helen Keller‘s words:

“Security is mostly a superstition. It does not exist in nature, nor do the children of men as a whole experience it. Avoiding danger is no safer in the long run than outright exposure. Life is either a daring adventure, or nothing.”

June 25: Day 1 of my fast, day 850 of our chain.

It has been amazing watching Suniti and her community lead this chain fast for more than 2 years in response to the awful oppression going on in India in the name of religion. Given yesterday’s ruling and the ever growing openness with which people in our government, both elected and unelected, use religion to justify an unjust system, I think it’s important we pay attention now in our own country.

Amit Dhawan: June 22 – June 24, 2022

June 22: Day 1 of my fast, day 847 of our chain.

ग्रेट इंडियन तमाशा कंपनी की आज की नौटंकी के बीच रुपया इतिहास के सबसे निम्नतम 78.38 तक गिर गया।

सेंसेक्स 709 अंक गिरा और देश का सबसे बड़ा बैंक घोटाला सामने आया। भारत के 500 कॉरपोरेट्स का मुनाफा जीडीपी का 4.3% हो गया है, जो 11 साल में सबसे ज़्यादा है।

पूर्व सैनिकों की भर्ती के मामले में यूपी, बिहार की पोल खुली।

मोदी सरकार ने साफ़ कर दिया है कि उसकी औकात इतनी बड़ी सेना रखने की नहीं है।

अलबत्ता वह कुर्सी खरीदने के लिए फाइव स्टार होटल में 70 लाख प्रतिदिन खर्च कर सकती है। साथ में सूटकेस भरकर नोट अलग से बांटेगी।

असम के 36 में से 32 जिले बाढ़ में डूबे हैं। 47 लाख जिंदगियां दांव पर हैं। 82 लोग मारे गए। लेकिन सीएम साहेब लोकतंत्र लूटने में लगे हैं।

मुम्बई में कोविड पाजिटिविटी 20% है। खुद सीएम पॉजिटिव होने के बावजूद लोकतंत्र को लुटने से बचाने में जुटे हैं।

June 23: Day 2 of my fast, day 848 of our chain.

अग्निवीर के फायदों पर एक #घोरकलजुगी पोस्ट

1.जातिवाद खत्म होगा: क्योंकि अब युवा गाड़ियों के पीछे ग्रेट गुर्जर,मर्द मराठा, रईस राजपूत औऱ बहादुर ब्राह्मण जैसे जातिसूचक नारो की जगह केवल “मैं भी अग्निवीर” लिखेंगे 🤣

2.जनसंख्या नियंत्रण: सरकार को अब जनसंख्या नियंत्रण कानून लाने की कोई आवश्यकता नही है क्योंकि सामान्यतः23 की उम्र में विवाह करने वाला ग्रामीण युवा 28 तक ट्रेनिंग और रोजगार तलाश में ही बिजी रहेगा,बाद में विवाहित होकर वो फेमिली प्लानिंग ही करेगा 🤣🤣

  1. दहेज प्रथा कम होगी: परमानेंट नौकरी और पेंशन न होने की स्थिति मे गाँव मे दहेज की डिमांड कम या बिलकुल खत्म हो सकती है उल्टा 25 -26 की उम्र तक रुकने पर वधु पक्ष को पैसा देना पड़ सकता है 🤣🤣

4.पेंशन की समस्या हल हो सकती है: अगर सरकार लोकसभा, विधानसभा से लेकर पँचायत में 25% पद अग्निवीरो के लिए आरक्षित कर दे तो उन्हें नियमानुसार पेंशन मिलेगी और देश को ईमानदार और ऊर्जावान नेता मिल सकेंगे

5.वर्गवाद खत्म होगा: अब चायवाले का पुत्र हो या चाय के बगान वाले का पुत्र दोनो के नाम के एक साथ अग्निवीर जुड़ेगा जिससे दोनो का समाज मे भेदभाव और असमानता भी खत्म होगी सरकार इस योजना को सभी युवाओ के लिए अनिवार्य कर दे तो वर्गवाद पूरी तरह खत्म हो सकता है 🤣

6.बाजार में तेजी लौटेगी: 4 साल के बाद 12 लाख मिलने के बाद अग्निवीर इस रकम का इस्तेमाल क्रिप्टो और शेयर बाजार में कर सकते है सरकार ने बैंकों में जमा दर इसलिए ही कम की है कि वो बाजार की तेजी का लाभ लेकर इस रकम को 4 साल में दोगुना कर सकते है 🙏🙏

और अंत मे अमिताभ और ऋतिक रोशन दोनो के लिए खुशी की बात है कि वो दोनो अपनी फ्लॉप फिल्मों को फिर से हिट करा सकते है सरकार उनकी #अग्निपथ को टैक्स फ्री भी कर सकती है #घोरकलजुग #डाटावाणी #agnipathschem

June 24: Day 3 of my fast, day 849 of our chain.

Col Pramod Kuar Pujari’s #Proposal_to_Government_of_India

I propose that a scheme similar to Agniveer should be introduced for our dear MPs and MLAs too. MPs may be named Karmaveers and MLAs Sevaveers once they have completed 5 years of service to the nation. During the 5 year tenure, they would receive training for 1 year and would be paid a consolidated salary plus allowances. On completion of 5 years, only 25% of them would be eligible to seek re-election based on their performance and the rest would receive a one-time severance package. No pension or other privileges/benefits will be paid. Those who have served as cabinet ministers would receive a citation describing him/her as Param Karmaveer or Maha Karmaveer or Param Sevaveer, Maha Sevaveer etc. I am sure this proposal would receive 100% support.
